One day Mrs Watson was a little late back to class. She was very impressed when she arrived to see her amazing class all reading The Grumpy Rhino. Charlie did a fantastic job of being the teacher! Check out the great expression the children are using to make the story more interesting.
We are Year 3/4 students and this is our blog. We would love if you made comments on our learning and visit our blog often to see what we are up to!

Do you love laughing? What about poems? Check this out!
I have recently found this great site. It has lots of funny poems.
A few of these could be read instead of a browsing book if your child feels like doing something different.
I have put a link on our Home Learning Page and by clicking on the picture below.

Amazing information about butterflies and moths!
On one of our earlier posts someone asked us what were the differences between moths and butterflies.
We challenged ourselves to find the answers to that question.
Tor found out that:
Butterflies fly during the day.
Moths fly at night.
Moths are usually brown or grey.
Butterflies can be lots of different colours.
Moth have feathered antennae
Butterflies have stalk antennae.
Tor found his information from his brother.
Regan found out that:
Butterflies have slender hairless bodies.
Moths have fat and furry bodies.
Regan found his information on the internet.
Alex found out that:
Butterflies have more colour and moths don't.
Butterflies fly in the day and moths fly at night.
Butterflies are skinny and moths are fat.
Alex found his information on his Dad's iPad.
We wrote this post together as a class at oral language time.

Today at Choice and Challenge the students were very adventurous and challenged themselves in different ways. Ben and Sam G tried painting blindfolded. Alex, Caz and Chloe mixed primary colours (red, yellow or blue) to make new colours and create a picture. And Gemma tried a new painting technique that she hadn't tried before. Well done for being so adventurous today!
